There are two summit blocks...
There are two summit blocks atop Gilbert Peak. This is a view of the highest block from a lesser northerly one. The scramble between them is frightfully exposed for one 10-ft section. There is a pole benchmark at the lesser northerly summit. These odd benchmarks were seen all over the Goat Rocks. Another one is right below the summit block of Big Horn. June 26, 2005.
