The snowfield

Remember the pic with Dennis walking across a snow section? Well, this is that snow section. This pic was taken from the top of the false summit and is looking towards the true summit. Not a lot of snow but we did encounter a lot more snow further down the mountain, not long after we left the trail as it headed down to Lola Lake. We also surprised a nice buck in that section. 8-16-11
