makes me wanna . . .

crawl back in my sleeping bag and snooze for another hour. Every time I wake up and think to take a shot like that, I'm too late . . . Lovely.

Nice

Great Photo. I love sunrises, as it's usually the point I quit freezing my ass off.

thanks folks!

thanks everyone! I'm pretty new to the 'mountaineering' thing, though I've backpacked the backcountry for the past 23 years (though the first couple of those I got to ride on my dad's back). Anyways... I see many more photogenic peaks in my future!

outstanding

It is refreshing to see you chose to render sky and peak color naturally without usual oversaturation of alpenglow that seems to be epidemic with many landscape photographer's these days. As though such special magic light experiences that we value so much are not worthy enough as we experience them naturally leading to gross enhancements in post processing. As someone that has camped in surrounding areas below many times over decades, I always seem to have excuses not climb up there for morning images. This is an excellent perspective with Iceberg Lake below. There is another one further south I hope to camp overnight at.

Best of luck,
David Senesac
