Started from the Bottom of Mt Marshall Rd, 625
It was a great Jan. day to hike and bushwack t(T)he Peak. I was alone for the entire hike except for a few special minutes with a busy, athletic Mini-Pinscher who was out on her regular am hike/run.
First time starting from 625; I've done it multiple times from the Jordan River Trail.

Reached The Peak
I made to the top of The Peak on a cold winter day in December 2006. The old trail forms a loop, with one way up to the summit being relatively short, straight, and steep and the other being longer and more gradual. I took the more gradual route on the way up. In April 2008, I returned to The Peak and took the steeper route to the summit on the way up. I met some other hikers near the summit and we ate lunch together.

A Worthy Peak
A fun, 1,000-foot bushwhack. I have done it in winter, spring, summer and fall. I think winter is best, due to some nasty vegetation in the general summit area.
