Penelope and I scrambled up the Knife Edge after hiking to it from Piedra Lisa Spring TH where we left our car on September 2, 2015. Wonderful scrambling on some pretty decent rock. We did not use rope, but had a thin, 8mm, 30m rope with us. From the top, hiked over North Sandia Peak to the Towers, then down La Luz back to our car. 14 miles RT. Good day in the mountains.
