Us 4 fellows started in Lukla with porters, crossed to the Hinku and trekked up to Khare, sent porters and trekking guide back to the Khumbu (to await us in Chukkhung), climbed Mera (no porters), trekked Hongu (only 1 porter and 1 Climbing Guide, made packs huge but we had no issues with porters at Amphu L.),crossed Amphu Laptsa, reunited with porters, climbed Imja Tse, hiked Khumbu back to Lukla.
Besides the crowded Khumbu very recommendable trek.
