The Hirtsfels as seen from Hirschthal

This is another view, of the giant Hirtsfels climbing site (rock) ... As seen from the valley and from the village of Hirschthal, is the site very spectacular and vertical ; with a total height of 56 meters, is the Hirtsfels the highest rock, of all the France - Germany sector ! Not bad, isn't it ? The Hirtsfels is well known, for his closure period, generaly situated between begin february and end july (maximal) : the Hirtsfels is hiddening peregrines falcons and it's so the reason, why is the site forbidden and closed to the public, in all this period of breedings and nestings ! This is very critical, but it's the truth on the terrain ... How can we still support this, now ? It does already too much years, that the Hirtsfels was closed to the public for six long months in the year, and actually, it don't seems to be ameliorated ! What for a big pity ...
