Re: Nice shot !The year was 1996. I got absolutely soaked on this climb. It felt like it was raining I could only look up for a few seconds without getting water in my eyes. It was my second climb done at the Vail amphatheater. That is awonderful place for ice and mixed climbin

Re: Nice shot !This kicks ass! Doesn't even really look like the top is in on this photo! You are nuts!!! The Fang didn't even come in this year, fell over twice! Hope I can try in next ice season when my skills are a little better and the ice is fatter. Nice shot.

The FangWhat more can be said about the Fang a classic by all standards. and yes the top part was seperated by about 3 to 4 feet. Still one of my favorite climbs any time I climb it.

Re: NiceIt is still forming up, The Ridgid Designator is in good shape . And other climbs worth stopping for .In a couple of weeks we will be going to Canada Leaving 23rd of January back by Feb,3 or 4 get ahold of me befor you leave I can introduce you to some locales for climbing with.
