Re: Y esta también impresionapues sí es la famosa cresta de Packe y Russell que se coge hacia la mitad encima de esa mancha clara en mitad de la pared que aunque no te lo creas es la terraza Carrere (desde luego no es una terraza como las de la plaza del castillo para tomar una caña). Ahí se llega desde la gran diagonal por detrás si en lugar de descender un poco al entrar te vas hacia arriba directo. Si te vas atravesando el col noir entonces ya es que ni coges la diagonal, directamente te vas para abajo por la ruta al refugio de Larribet. Tienes un esquema de la entrada que he puesto en la ruta.

Re: Arresting Aretethanks, it's true, it's the south face. The correct for the ridge is of course west ridge. Impressive climb by Packe and Russell in the XIX century (bad boots,... )across this ridge, it's grade III with this great fall in the both sides, one of the most dangerous of the whole Pyrenees. Nobody climb for this ridge in the actual time, I think that they were crazy. I'll try this mountain across the easier gran diagonal in the next weeks.
