The buttress which accesses...
The buttress which accesses the West Ridge, seen from through the door of our tent at the head of the Bonney Glacier. We began by climbing up the snow slopes to pass the gendarmes low on the ridge, then climbed up the crest of the buttress to reach the West Ridge.
