The Barafu Route heads up to...
The Barafu Route heads up to Stella Point (18,700 feet) on the crater rim at the low point on the horizon just right of center. The Rebmann Glacier is on the left and the Ratzel Glacier is that tiny thing you see on the far right horizon. Once you get to Stella Point, you'll get great views of Uhuru Peak and the Kibo Summit Crater. January 17, 2002.
