Temple Peak Road
Sunny, hot day on Temple Peak Road. Walked from just after Sinks Road to the summit via Temple Peak Rd. Good views along the road and from the summit. Cool view of the backside of the high peaks of the Bear River Range.
We were able to make it up the northern road in a Jeep Wrangler and parked at the northern of the three summits which has a register claiming that that summit is higher than the southern one. We went to all three summits. We also did 7475 (Saddleback Mountain), Beaver Mt, 8641, and 8220. The road is a nail biter at the end. The worst of it comes where it turns sharply left and a closed road lies ahead.

Fall hike
Nice hike with the trees starting to change colors, really want to ski it some day.

Temple Peak
The northern road was gated so I took the southern road. I made it a little past Elk Spring and parked. There were two steep parts in the road and I thought it was best to hike from here. If you walk around the summit ridge you’ll be able to get views away from the forest.
