"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Traverse: Richmond to Black BearUp to Richmond Pass from 550: T8, T7, Telluride, Trico and down via Black Bear to 550. Nice traverse. Three tricky bits: 1. towers on ridge between Richmond Pass and T8 - bypass to N; 2. towers near T8-T7 col - bypass N by dropping into Imogene Basin; 3. N ridge of Trico - steep, loose but never worse than 2+

Nice hikeHiked up/ran all the way from the turn off for Imogene pass from Camp Bird Road - about 5 miles on the rough dirt road, and over 3,000 feet elevation gain, otherwise it can be an easy run up from the top of Imogene. There is a nice trail. Duchess had a blast.
Good training for Imogene Pass run.
