wild China
Two day trip with bivy. Started at Houzhenzi at 1pm following ridge until sunset, descended and camped at base of 100m waterfall. Next day followed water course intersecting trail at meadow about 2km from summit. Followed normal trail back to visitor center and bus to Tangyu. On first day encountered a wild Golden Snub Nosed Monkey at a distance of 10m.

Made it to 3511 meters (~11519 feet) elevation with a buddy, about 1 mile past the lodge. The condition was windy and rainy, and there were 5-6 more miles to the summit, so we turned back.
