Fine Calvary Picture!Cool wooden cross. Does Mt. Blanc lack a Calvary at the summit becuase of republican sentiments? I noticed that other high peaks in the Valais, Savoy and Aosta seem to have them including the Matterhorn, Dom and Weisshorn.

Re: Fine Calvary Picture!All important summits in the Alps have a summit cross except those with an icecap. Republican sentiments have nothing to do with.
