Strange plateau

Strange, sharp rocks on the summit block, with deep holes and little caves. You could cut yourself pretty badly if you tripped on these rocks!

Wonderful

I found the same type of plateau in Wyoming's Gros Ventre range this summer. I've never seen anything else like it: a very surreal landscape!

Thank you! I wish we'd had more time to explore them and bag another summit (the Knittelhorn would have been a 15 minute hike I think).
