Star Dune

Star Dune, the dunes tallest dune from base to summit, sits of on the south west side of the Dune Field. Although much more difficult to get to it offers an extroadinary hike. Beyond the dunes is the rest of the San Lius Valley and the distant San Juans. January 2006. Jon Bradford
