Loop as detailed on the main page
Full parking lot at 8:30 AM, but people were starting to leave and as the day went on I came to see why... the temps reached over 90 by 12:30. Much fewer people out near the peak, where an unexpected aerie was found...
The ranch house area was a nice treat on the way back.
Nice stroll up there. Not too crowded, but not a fan of the electric motorcycle riders

Fun Morning Hike
Did this hike early on a Saturday morning. There were a ton of cars in the parking lot, but once we hiked out a ways there weren't too many people. The trail is well-marked. I would like to come back and do some mountain biking on Daley Ranch since it is allowed. Definitely a nice location, but be sure to bring a lot of water. It's quite warm in the spring, summer and fall, even in the early morning.
Hiked with McMurdoSound.

great views
Beautiful hike up to Stanley Peak. For some reason I thought I was on a 2.8 mile loop, but ended up hiking 6-7 miles. Definitely worth it! Mallard lake was spectacular and untouched. Definitely going to go back sometime to see if I can find any morteros in the rocky meadow along the Coyote Run trail. Saw a snake and coyotes. Views from the top were killer.

Nice in the winter
Spent a leisurely afternoon walking up this peak, saw a couple of coyotes along the way.
