Wow, one of the better pages I have seen on this site. I like how you had the views from the summit labeled. Is there an easy way to do this? Anyhow, great page!!!
Thanks! Is there an easy way to do those panos? See here, where I included the source somewhere at the bottom of page one. I'm afraid even a simpler pano with less labels is quite complicated.
Then I wanted to go to the Marmolada GROUP page, to see the broader picture. On the first attempt it didn't show up correctly. Text on the page was extending even beyond my 1024x768 resolution, many thumbnails didn't show up at all. I think showung too many thumbnails and also thumbnails for mountains, which already have their own page, is redundant. I think no page on SP should be too extensive. You know how I admire your work, so allow me also time to time a few such words ;-)
Hmm Vid, I'm actually still working on the Marmolada Group page (I only started this week). I know there are too many thumbs at the moment. When I wrote the page a year ago I linked pictures from the existing Marmolada and Dolomites pages which I want to get rid of over time. Also of the two large panos one will have to go too - I have been experimenting a bit.
Actually posting Spiz di Malinvern had something to do with the group page - I wanted to have the single summits up before I finalized MG page. With the Pale di San Martino it will even be worse. Very hard to pick the pictures, especially as there are so few single mountain pages. It's going to be a whole lot of tedious work for the winter nights.
So perhaps you have to wait until I announce that the overhaul is finished...
Yes, I understand you. If it was not you, I wouldn't write any comment. But as I know you'll have the wisdom to find the right measure, I did it. Just keep on, Gangolf! Can't wait to see La Fradusta page. And others...

Untitled CommentNice mountain. A 9 hour hiking day is a good thing.

Untitled Comment9h are ok, hiking for two hours on a dirt road with a shuttle service isn't. One should buy a ride. And 1700m elevation gain is a bit much too.
Thanks!
