Another Great Dayhike
Monsoonal clouds just about ruined my views today but I had a fantastic day getting out there again. SE ridge proper is fun, even with 25+mph wind.

From Lyell-McClure Col
After Lyell tagged this with Josh H as a day-hike from Tuolomne Meadows. From the summit register, it seems to be much less climbed than its near-neighbor Lyell.

SC Day 2
Day 2 of the 2004 Sierra Challenge
Will Lyell Canyon ever end? Climbed with Whoa Nellie Deli celebrity, Joe D.
Mt. Maclure via Southeast Ridge Date Climbed: Sept. 23, 2001
Came from our camp below Donohue Pass, crossed the Lyell Glacier to the Lyell-Maclure col and summited Mt. Lyell first. Then back down to the col and picked up Maclure's SE Ridge to the top. I remember that moving over a lot of talus at the beginning of this route was not much fun, but towards the top the narrow rock ridges made things a lot more enjoyable.
