"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Route to get onto the TFTRoute finding on the ridge was not as bad as I expected. A little bit of loose rock, but to be expected. The moat is becoming less passable, but was manageable when we went through. This route would have made for a decent trip in itself.

DayhikeClear skies-great route. Intention was to do the Torment-Forbidden traverse, but we bailed after summitting Torment to avoid an epic/bivy.

Start of the T-F traverseDid the traverse several years ago. Basiclly, went around Torement via the Quein Sabe Glacier, perhaps Boston and up to the summit. Recall 2/3 up having a great view of Eldorado Peak and Mt. Baker to the north.
