Nice trip report. Too bad for all the lack of snow in the area. Some of the "permanent" springs in the surrounding desert are in danger of running bone dry. Here's an interesting tidbit: Five major mountains, and several minor peaks make up the range of the Henry Mountains. They are in order if height: Mount Ellen Mount Penell Mount Hillers Mount Ellsworth Mount Holmes Interestingly, the mountains are in exact opposite order when you sort them by difficulty. In order of difficulty: Mount Holmes Mount Ellsworth Mount Hillers Mount Penell Mount Ellen
