Not so long.

Great TR, an inspiration for me as I sit at home with a 2 and 4 year old. It won't be long before they are ready...
This climb was the first date I had with my now wife, and our kids are named Tenaya and Conness, so you KNOW our kids are gonna get hauled up this!

Great Story

Thanks for sharing this. Looks like a fathers dream to climb with his son in such a great setting. Happy Climbing!

What are you doing??

Taking a kid up a burly route like that, why, it's almost as dangerous as the McDizzle playplace! Nice work KylerT.

Terrific TR

I felt like I was there. Great job Ky...and great job suggesting this to your Dad.

Granpie Mack

Good job Kyler, we're proud of you. Pretty scary stuff for grandparents to see, but we are happy that you can be with your Dad on such events. Barry, we know we don't have to say be careful, but be careful. Granpie and Gramie Mack & Gale

Fun TR

Nice to see the grandparents comments above and their concern but I echo Moapa's statement: Lucky kid. Thanks for sharing this family adventure with the rest of us.

Wow!

Yer son has no fear of confined spaces, nor heights! Tough young fellow!

the pictures. They give an excellent look at that route, which has been on my list for a while!

Awesome TR

Went to do this April before last but couldn't find the trail between Lcap and broderick. Ended up way over by Southern Belle where they were putting up a new route. Your pic of the view from the 3rd class section seems well worth the slog. Way to go! Thanks for the gear beta too!

Awesome report

I have always wanted to do this route. Well if an 11 year old can do it...maybe I need a Dad to lead.
