Good description in Supertopo

Also, regarding the descent - you can rap using one 60m rope from the tree into a third class gully to climber's left, which is a fairly easy downclimb.

There is also a second pitch (described in Supertopo).

Second pitch? I didn't even realize... have you climbed it?

Re: Good description in Supertopo

Yes, I've done the second pitch twice - there is a big manzanita with slings to rap off, or you can keep going to some stuff above (Mike was interested in that, but it started to look like rain, so we just decided to stop there).

Thanks for posting this route Carolyn - brings back pleasant memories :)

Re: Good description in Supertopo

I just looked in the Yosemite Free Climbs falcon guide (Reid) - now I remember - Mike wanted to TR the 5.8 offwidth above the second pitch. Twisted, lol :)

Thanks Rob, I'll add it but I didn't do it. Is it any good??

Re: Good description in Supertopo

I wouldn't call it 'good' :) but I thought it was decent practice for a newbie leader.

Hey Rob, if you get a chance, could you look at the description -- and let me know if you'd add/change anything?
