Does a rolling stone have moss?Looks like you would want to watch for algae.

Re: Does a rolling stone have moss?Yes, you definitely want to stay on the dry rock when you can, although even some of the dry rock has a bit of dry moss on it. You especially want to keep your rock climbing shoes reasonably dry for the friction climbing up higher where the slabs steepen. Algae was not too much of a problem.

Bushwhacking timeMy recollection was that that we spent about 2 hours bushwhacking in order make the 1 1/2 to 2 mile approach to this slide from the Roaring Brook Trail.
