Approach

Park at the Golden Cliffs climbers parking (see Getting There in main text) and proceed up the trail to the base of the cliffs. At the base head to the right (east).

The route is easily visible from the parking lot. Look for the beautiful dihedral with the 1 ft. overhand midway up on the east side.

Route Description

Short but wonderful route.

This is an excellent dihedral with a crack running up the inside corner. Just follow the crack straight up. Holds on the two faces are scarce. Jams and lie backs are the name of the game here.

Essential Gear

There is a two bolt + chain achor at the top but nothing on the way up. The anchor is easily reachable from cliff top to set a top rope.

This is a good place to bring your rack - either for a trad lead or even to practice aiding.

Children

Children

Children refers to the set of objects that logically fall under a given object. For example, the Aconcagua mountain page is a child of the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits.' The Aconcagua mountain itself has many routes, photos, and trip reports as children.
