Overview

The importance of a mountain too often depends on where it is located ... if Castelletto Inferiore were out of Brenta Group it will be famous all over the world like some Dolomiti's summits
But it is located in the Brenta Group where many more famous, mighty and difficult summits call the rock climbers and fantastic paths and ferrate call hikers, so it is seen by first ones as a good way to spend an afternoon or a not fine weather day, while the second ones don't even understand that it is a very fine rocky mountain, even if it is immediatly over the rif. Tuckett.

Together with its minor brothers (Castelletto di Mezzo and Castelletto Superiore) it makes the N boundary of the small fine valley coming down from Bocca di Tuckett toward Vallesinella.

Fine rock, short (drop is about 250m) routes (some easy) make it the best way to spend half a day without problems.

Two big ledges divide the wall and climbers running on the normal route (that passes along them) can give some danger of falling stones to climbers of the direct routes.

It has a fine South wall full of routes easy and difficult that can be combined in different ways : on this wall you can climb almost everywhere !

Getting There

Each route to Castelletto Inferiore can be done in one day directly starting from Madonna di Campiglio.

from Madonna di Campiglio south border follow the route (4 km) to Malga Vallesinella (the key to enter central Brenta chains)
Taxi-bus service, parking.
In front of the Hotel there is a wooden structure, pass under it and follow the signs for : Casinei - Brentei - Tuckett.
Cross a rill with a fine wooden bridge and follow the path in the hood till the Casinei (mt 1800)
Follow, on the left, a path, starting in plane that brings you in 1h, with a fine confortable walk, to the
Rif. Tuckett
.
(2 hours from Vallesinella)

In 10 minutes get the base of the wall and start amusing :)

    Children

Children refers to the set of objects that logically fall under a given object. For example, the Aconcagua mountain page is a child of the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits.' The Aconcagua mountain itself has many routes, photos, and trip reports as children.
