Shirley topping out on pitch 5 of Snibble Tower. She's just above the 5.9 dihedral and above the quality rock....back in choss! Shadows of The Platform (left) and The East Summit are visible below; as is Crooked River (July 10, 2005).

Funny.

Funny, doesn't look like you were too crowded on that route! I'm glad I moved from the Pac NW before being tempted by that monster. Still, it looks better than I thought it would from what I'd heard.

Who bolted the sport routes? Was it Ryan Lawson?

Yeah - I was shocked too not to see a line at the base of this one ;)

You're right - with the pitch 1 sport bypass (which we did not know existed till we got there), the route was really not bad at all and the .9 pitch was really stellar for Smith (better than Moonshine esp. since there's no rest ledge midway up the dihedral).

Not sure about the sport routes. My guess would be Ryan since he's been active on that wall but not sure? Other than that pitch 1, the other bolted pitches looked steep (10+/11) ???
