Slow hike up ShermanBoth Al Sandorff and I were nursing leg injuries so we decided to go ahead and try this one to see if just taking our time and watching every footstep would get us to the top. Yay - it worked. We may have set the record for the slowest ever ascent of this mountain but we made it to the top and back without stressing our injuries or making them worse. My wife waited patiently at our truck and even she thought we had been pretty doggone slow. : )
