Still far from my ideal acclimatization, I quit some hundreds of meters away from the summit. But what a beautiful day! Anyway, Sentilo was the beginning of an unforgettable holiday at the Cordillera Blanca.
Route Climbed: Normal-East ramp-North ridge Date Climbed: July 22, 2004
Special day, my first peak of 5000 meters. Not difficult, only some tired and strong headache for the height, but after the sleep for 2 hours in Taullipampa after the climb, very happy. We climb other peaks like Urus and Ishinca some days after thanks to the good acclimatization of this granite tower.
