I topped out in time just as a cloud moved overhead. My neck felt like it was getting pinched as I removed my slings to prep the belay. Then I heard the pattering of raindrops, but when I looked for rain, there was none. It wasn't the pattering of rain, but the sound of electricity between the two pinnacles! I belayed quickly and as the second topped out my finger tips were trailing a greenish glow. I kept moving my hands around, not sure of what I was seeing, but then it was apparent I wasn't on drugs. We were about to be crispy climbers! I told her to remove all hardware and get below on a ledge. I then removed my stuff and actually untied from the rope and used the short end (mistake)to tarzan down to her, but the rope was too short. I had to let go and free fall, hoping to hit the ledge and not the ground hundreds of feet below. I landed safely and we waited out the cell. I then had to free climb up to the top to lower the rope to her. we then got the hell off as the next cell approached.

Fun day with friends
I did this climb with my friends John and Mickey and had a great time. The climbing is easy but very enjoyable. The views from the summit where awesome.
