1 star?I can't believe people voted this 1 star! This is extremely helpful to anyone trying to do this route. Thanks for adding the route and map jgsman. I will update the main Massive page to incorporate this into the Climbing Information section. My vote was the 4 star one, BTW.

Re: 1 star?Hear hear! I'm a big fan of 7.5min quads-these should be standard for all Rockies submissions.

Re: 1 star?I voted it 2 stars. This map is useful in theory, but at the submitted size, nearly all printed features on the map are invisible.
Large photos are subsampled automatically to a maximum width of 640 pixels. Contour maps are particularly prone to suffer a loss of feature quality when they're subsampled. SPv2 should allow users to upload full size images, which should solve this problem.
In the meantime, I suggest that jgsman should first crop the map to 640 pixels wide and then resubmit.
That being said, I'm too lazy to fiddle with my maps before I submit to summitpost. It shows, too--many of my maps are rated less than three stars [example]. I've even had some fall prey to automatic deletion after they fell to two stars.

Re: 1 star?Maybe it's just because I've climbed Massive, but I can tell exactly where this is. The Halfmoon Creek Trailhead, North Halfmoon Creek, and North Halfmoon Lakes are all clearly visible as reference points. The gradelines are also well shown so you can use the steep sections as a reference.
It could be a little clearer, but it is a good map. 3 or 4 stars IMHO.
