I know! Two more odd things, 1) there is an even easier line, rated like III+, it's the Dibona Route up to the scree band. It's off to the right and apparently a bit uninspiring. 2) I haven't run into any topos or guidebooks showing harder routes, which must exist, especially off to the right. Maybe it's just too permanently wet over there...
One things for sure, it's a great way to spend a nice day.

but 25 years ago I climbed the S-edge of the S-buttress(Piaz) using the new rock shoes :)
Awesome, really great that you climbed this! After all that time, do you still remember the first pitch above the band? I think that one will stick with me the longest.
