Tough to get to...
Took the jeep road up from the bottom, rode/pushed my mountain bike to the top...it is a long windy road to the top, not very exciting and would not recommend doing in hot weather. Fun little route from the radio tower to the lookout.

The brush was not as bad as I expected - the last few hundred feet is the worst part. Definitely not as bad as the brush on Buck Point.

Easy way
With Adam Jantz, a bunch of driving for a bunch of easy HPS peaks on my birthday. Trip Report

Brushy and Wet
Who would have thought a June hike would feel like the winter? Via Foxborough Avenue with Buck Point, 17 miles and 5000 feet elevation gain.
Drove up here to inspect the contractor's work removing dead trees from the '03 fires. Beautiful views from up here! Loved especially the views from Joe Elliott down the South Fork Lytle Creek Canyon.

South Ridge
Hiked with Travis and Bechtt up the ridge from the north end of Etiwanda Ave. After the ridge, got on the fire road to the communications site. Then we headed cross-country again to the lookout. I believe that Travis loves brush so much he doesn't even notice it!

Nice hike - brush wasn't too bad
Hiked with Bechtt and Mountain Impulse via the south Ridge from Etiwanda Ave. Total trip was 16 miles and 6000 ft gain. A decent hike! Although the south ridge was a little brushy, I enjoyed it.
