well done !!

.. a primary image could be useful ...
and, if you like this wild kind of mountains I could suggest you a trip into the Feruc group (Valle del Mis) : I've been there about 40 years ago with my soldiers while I was an army officer ...
very fine and wild place !

Re: well done !!

Thanks,
I`m planning to visit Gruppo del Cimonega and Piani Eterni; some 10 years ago I visited Vette Feltrine (a really beautiful place) and from there you have beautiful view to S side of Cimonega, now I saw N side so I think it would be next longer trip. I saw on the map that there are many bivouacs so it`s a place for me. When you mentioned Valle del Mis is that somewhere near village Mis, or on which Tabacco map I can see that place ?

Re: well done !!

here some links (the first one I found in a fast search with google) - these sites are in Italian but I think you should not find difficulties to understand the main contents:

http://www.magicoveneto.it/belluno/pndb/Monti-del-Sole.htm
http://www.magicoveneto.it/Belluno/MisGene/LeGene.htm

hoping to see soon a trip report about it from you

Re: well done !!

Thanks,
I found it already; it`s Monti del Sole. I did not know about the Feruc Group name. I was looking at them from bivouac Menegazzi
Ciao
