Great ski trip
Rich Henke, Bryan Johnson and I skied the San Bernardino Peak Ridge to San Gorgonio in February 1993 as another preparation for our big Asian trip the following year. This superb route (especially in a good snow year) is propably the best overnight (or three day) ski trip one can do in Southern California. In fact looking down from the ridge, you might guess you are in Alaska, Colorado, the Cascades, anywhere but in Southern California. If you love to ski the backcountry, this high traverse with a huge downhill run at the end, is a "must do" in the not so alpine land of Southern California.

9 peaks
Did this as a backpacking trip in the summer. I thought it was called 9 peaks.
