Holy Frickin' Crap!

Rick Kent did ALL SEVENTEEN of the 10K+ peaks in the SG Wilderness in ONE day?!! Holy Frickin' Crap!!

Good job on your hike. Heck of an accomplishment.

Strong Work

From the pics it looks like you picked a nice October day to do this hike. Looks like fun.

Re: Strong Work

thanks, yes, it was a beautiful day. Couldn't ask for better. Great time of year for this hike, nice and cool but no snow.

Like Being With You

Great report Travis. With the narrative, stats, GPS tracks, photos and video it's like being there with you - except for the small matter of the physical exertion of course.

Well done

Nicely done Travis. Been on most of those, but never in one shot. Great report.

Re: Well done

thanks for your comments, definitely is a nice route to hit these peaks, and at 20 miles, is fairly reasonable.

Trail Update

To anyone interested i took the 'unmaintained' portion of the trail last weekend (Nov 29, 2014) and it was very straightforward. I only had to stop a couple times to make sure i was taking the right turn but generally speaking the trail is on par with the maintained trail in all aspects except its width - highly recommend wearing pants! I hate pants but would say its more than necessary on this portion of the trail. If anyone knows the exact length of this portion id be very interested in knowing. thanks!
