this walk start's at the village of Leusden zuid. this is actually not in the Hoge Veluwe but only a few miles outside it's borders. from here you walk toward's the town of Barneveld but you keep it to your left by this you pass between Barneveld and the town of Lunteren. from here you walk in a straight line to the village of Hoenderloo from here in a straight line to the town of Zutphen. this route travels over sand dune's and has more heather and wild life than the N. S. traverse. It also passes a forrest called "Deeler woud" here is a small group of Wisent or European Bison. you can also spend the night on a over pass over a freeway for animal's. A great way to see deer and pig

Route Description

Again a wander-walk with map and compass or G.P.S. just do it some time. Beautifull in the fall when the heather bloom's and the deer are calling.
