Approach

See Similaun N-face page
From Martin-Busch Hut on the new marked path (red-white paint) around Marzell Kamm to the Marzellferner (Marzell glacier). The old path is closed for risk of stone fall.

Route Description

Climb the glacier direction SO - O (avoid the crevasses). Then on the huge glacier ramp from west, last 100 m on the snow ridge just above the N-face and a few meter of scrambling to the top. Route is pretty logical and obvious.

Essential Gear

crampons, harness, ice axe, rope (just the essentials for glacier travel)
