Great contrast...

...indeed, fantastic shot, no, perfect! Where there lot of flowers around or you found this one, which was positioned perfectly against Rjavina face?

Re: Great contrast...

Thanks, Sasa! Yes, there were many, but I was looking quite some time, because no one was in such steep terrain. I have a muscle injury, so didn't go to basketball training for 10 days. Today I wanted just to go by car somewhere, but in Kot there were so much snow, that I needed 1 hour to get till Lengarjev rovt and good one hour more to gain next 400 meters. That's why I like this flower - I walked quite a lot to meet her.

Re: Great contrast...

I hope your muscle injury will heal soon, till May, so that you are ready for coming greenery. I guessed you had to look for this one and it was well worth it! While image was loading up, when it got to top of the flower, which I didn't notice on the thumbnail, I though my God where did Vid find this lamp on the slopes of Julian Alps :-) Its umbrella reminds of some living room lamps!

Re: Great contrast...

Hm? I'm looking forward for next week, when I'm free and also the week before May 1st. My leg is OK for walking, but I can't play basketball and run. Ahilova tetiva - what's that in English? Achilles whatever?

I hadn't seen...

...before: nice photo and mainly great depth of field! Any (remote) technical detail?

:-)

Thanks, Livio! No, I don't remember any technical details. Perhaps there's something written on the original picture file. But I don't think I still have it.
