The sierra de alanos is a great place and in summer the camping of Zuriza just under the sierra is a great place to take a beer contemplating the late afternoon on the mountains of the saw and to make a lot of summit from there.
I climbed yesterday the Rincón de Alano and today I've make the page. Many people yesterday in the camping (august is the best time in the area) but wonderfull day.
A very good and informative page. Very well written (thumbs up!!!). Great pictures (especially the ones taken in May - the contrast of grey rocks, white snowfields and blue sky is always nice).
My girlfriend always wants to take me to Spain to climb any of the many mountain ranges - perhaps we'll start with Pyrenees (we will be able to find them). However, I'm quite at a loss where the Sierra de Alanos is. Perhaps a map would be helpful ??!??
