Useful picPics like this are always useful. Someday I'll figure out how to do them.

What is the rating...of the route directly up the ridge from the dashed line?

Re: What is the rating...To the best of my knowledge, the ridge you mention (the NW Ridge) is unclimbed. There is a route on the SW Ridge, which is indistinct in this photo, but is the next rock rib to the right (forms a line on the photo between rocky slopes to the left and talus to the right). The SW Talus Slope Route goes up the talus on the right. The SW Ridge if mostly Class 4 with one "possibly" Class 5 pitch. I have not climbed the SW Ridge route, so I can't give any better details than are in the Edwards Guide.
