Rest and be Thankful, First Ascent.

The Northern side of the mountain offers incredible selection of sharp aretes, buttresses and ridges. In the fall of 1999, Miguel Carmona and I climbed the "right hand" skyline arete, visible from Highway 395 at Lone Pine. The approach is via south fork of Tuttle Creek and Keyhole Wall. The route turned out to be 15 pitches long, with mostly 5.9 and easier climbing. Two pitches of 5.10 crack climbing. The route was climbed second time in July 2002.

July 10, 2013- Alex Honnold and Cedar Wright soloed the arete as part of their successful technical solo ascent of all the California 14 ners in one push (10 days) while unsuported and approaching all of them on a mountain bke. This might be the third ascent of the route and the first solo ascent.
