Re: CongratulationsYou bring up a good point. Knee or hip failures are some of my fears. But I understand that you can get replacement joints these days, even though they aren't as good as the original. A hiker I know just had a hip replacement and she's back to hiking now.

Silly to keep track?Is it silly to keep track of vertical gain? Even if yes, you are not alone. I just checked my record in peakbagger: it shows 425019 feet. (I don't record everything, so in reality it must be around 500000 feet). Congratulation to your 2M record! And try to keep in mind that human body has limitations, and health is not less valuable than these records. I wish you the next 1M feet gain in good health!
