Brings back many memories of my climb of Liberty Ridge.
Did you find out how that climber was killed? Was he hit by a rock or something?
There was a rescue the day before we got on the ridge too.
Nice to hear it brings some good memories to you. This route is awesome, I had a lot of fun.
Supposedly the guy had hypothermia, his friends went to get help, he wandered off and either got swept in an avalanche or fell. But his body was not recovered when we were there.
What a great 3 weeks you had! Great TR and great photos. Not to sure about the music choice for your videos though. Either the music or too much coffee gave me a headache. :) LOL Congrats Vitaliy!!
Great post. I had to check my summit photo from my 05 DC summit. Yep same place. Liberty Ridge is on my to do list. Very inspirational, great pics, nice short summary.
