"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Kids like it a lot.Hiked up with my daughters for the third or fourth time. Quick and easy with a great view. Also was able to spot the "old chimney" from the top and make our way to it. Good time.

Nice and Quick...Great little jaunt. I did it this morning in about 30 minutes, up then down. The summit is really cool rock, but slippery with sand.

long overdueHiked in from the east. Took longer to find the TH than to run the trail. Beautiful day, nifty rocks.

Fun scrambleA very windy day but once I got onto the rock I had a lot of fun scrambling all around the area. Excellent views, a very nice open space in the middle of the city.

Nice Open SpaceI'm guessing the date when I first summited Pulpit Rock. I used to do it several times a week after work for the exercise. It is a nice jog up and down with a nice short scramble at the top. What a great City open space!

Pulpit Rock Open Space RouteMinus the grafitti covered summit block, this is a nice suburban outing. Views of Pikes Peak are stellar.
