I'll be in Melbourne from Aug 19-23, 2010 and looking for some outdoors fun, particularly hiking, climbing, caving, canyoneering etc. This is my first trip to Oz so it would be great to meet some locals and see a new area.

Kosciusco is on my radar. Besides that I don't really know anywhere to go.
