WEEKEND ROAD TRIPS TO THE FRONT RANGE--KANSAS CITY TO COLORADO. If you are in the KCMO area or anywhere in the vicinity of the freeway between Kansas City and Estes Park....
This already worked once with Adam--we met on Thursday evening, and were climbing by 6am on Friday morning--Dragonstail Couloir--and on Saturday, we shimmied up "Krishna's Cutoff" on Hallett. Ready for more(!)......
Looking for partner(s) for summer weekend road trips from Kansas City metro to Colorado for climbing. If you are in the KC area or I-70 corridor, we can share gas/driving. IF you're closer to the mountains, we can meet at the trail head. Leave Friday afternoon, alpine start Saturday morning, come back Sunday afternoon. Objectives: alpine mountaineering--mixed snow, ice, rock--anything from a class 2 slogfest to multi-pitch fifth class to steep alpine snow and ice is fair game. Like-minded individuals should drop me a line.
