Hi all…
Trying to concoct a harebrained scheme for the summer of love 2009. I read somewhere that this summer is to be the modern equivalent of the 1967 summer of love, but anyway while the hippies are all dropping LSD and delving into other realms of consciousness I plan to be delving up classic north faces in Chamonix.

I plan to be out there from mid June until September so if anyone has similar plans please drop me an email and we can try scheme together.

My tick list is never ending when it comes to the alps so anything fly’s. What I don’t like is long snow hikes, its just not my thing. I love technical faces an long free climbs, ice and rock. Mixed climbing is my real cup of tea. I am pretty easygoing person, I have lots of experience in the mountains and I spent a few seasons in Chamonix before. IF the valley blues kick in (the weather in chamoinx suck) I am also down for hitting anywhere else in Europe. But as it stand I am on a serious budget so hitchhiking might be the only way…
At the moment I live in the bay area and plan to spend as much of my free time as I can in Yosemite or the high sierra.

		Dear My name Vangelis, I coming from Greece. I am 43 years old. And I have be every year the last 7 years I Chamonix. On the top of Mont Black I have be 5 times on the pass I have bin also in Matterhorn in Swiss, last summer I have be make the route Papigion and Chere. 	Hi Rob, My name is Dan and I am an American living in Munich. I am moving back to the Bay Area at the end of the year (where I left two years ago). I would be really interested in joining up in Cham or elsewhere. I am planning on spending most of my time climbing over the next few months so will be trucking between Munich and Cham as I get myself organized to move home. I am a big mixed fan. I have done some in mixed in Chamonix but mostly more ice in LaGrave and Austria. Also longer alpine stuff in the Dolomites and Austria. Before coming to Europe most of my experience was in Washington, Tetons, Bolivia, New Zealand and Nepal. But I am really keen on putting up more routes in the alps before heading back. let me know what you think. I have a week in July and a week in August already planned but am pretty much ready to get out of Munich and get climbing ASAP. also would be keen to do some alpine stuff in Switzerland or elsewhere. 	hi rob i´ll be in chamonix from august 22 to august 31. I´ve got moderate/good rock climbing skills, and tough this is not my first time in the alps, i´ve never climbed there before... anyway, i´m planning to give a try in pyramide du tacul, petit capucin, aiguille du chardonnet... i think they´re quite compatible with my skills, and i´d like to try one (or maybe all) of them, see ya! 	Hi there I am in Chamonix 15th-22nd August. Hoping to do some moderate peaks - probably around PD. My experience is as below. Please let me know if you are interested. Ben -Trad - Have led a variety of Severe routes in South Wales, Cornwall and North Wales, one HS route. Seconded many routes up to HVS. -Mixed climbing - led one, and seconded many Grade IIs in Scotland -Alps - Did a PYB alpine course in the Alps three years ago. This was before I could lead climb though. On our final day we ascended Aigulle de Tour. Have explored some AD peaks, both not complete, but could learn from them -Mountains - lots of winter and summer navigation in navigationally challenging parts of the UK. -Altitude - have climbed at about 6000m in Pakistan - ice at 45 degrees at the steepest I would say, but challenging with the thinner air and Pakistani heat!
