Looking if anybody is interested in climbing Orizaba n Nov 2006 - Jan 2007 by Jamapa Glacier route (http://www.summitpost.org/route/155416/glaciar-jamapa-ruta-normal-.html). I would expect reliable partners in good physical shape with positive attitude. :-) My personal goal is to make it to the top of the mountain and have a good goal-oriented company. I would preferer the time around Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays, but I will do my best to accomodate the partners' schedule. Please, send me PM or email.

	IF you go in the beginning of Dec, watch out for the Catholic holiday celebrating the virgin in Tchlachechuca (SP?) The hoards of people in the village mean lots of noise (no sleep). Also be prepared to not sleep inthe hut at 14,000. If there are alot of people is not enjoyable, best to bring a tent. The trail up the Jamapa is primarily alpine rock trail as the glacier has receded terrifically in the last 5 years. Multiple trails/cairns exist up from15, 500-17,000. Does not hurt to go up on a pre acclimitazationclimb the day before to suss out the route you want to take the next am (in the dark). Good luck, this is not a climb worth going back to do more than once, so I hope you get your summit.
